With Coachella just around the corner, Southern Californians have but this one thing on their minds. Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feeds are coming up all things Coachella. And although it is primarily a musical festival, it would be a lie to say that there is not large fashion scene surrounding the event. Crazy prints, crop tops, sheer everything, fringe, and boots; anything goes at Coachella (well, almost). So if you’re like me (secretly more excited to create outfits and do fashion research at the festival than you are for the music) then here are some great outfit options:
Nasty Gal Acid Romper, Topshop Floral Stripe Dress, Topshop Giraffe Print Shorts, ASOS Midi Dress, Forever 21 Denim Vest, Diesel Sheet Top, Free People Crochet Sneaker
The temperatures are rising and people everywhere are looking to flee the cities for the more summer appropriate beach towns. If you’re a New Englander, such as myself, you are probably familiar with the overwhelmingly popular Hamptons destination. However, for a more low-key beach town, Watch Hill, RI is the perfect place, just ask its newest resident Taylor Swift. With a bright bathing suit and a new tote filled with beach essentials you’re ready for the water, or throw on a cover up and wedges and head back in to town for a lobster roll and summer cocktail.
Kate Spade tote, Net-a-Porter bathing suit, Zappos wedges, Bloomingdales cover-up
Grungy Punk mixed with ladylike beauty? Such a fashion combination sounds impossible. But the Fall 2013 Ready-To-Wear line from Preen by Thornton Bregazzi pulled off this style clash perfectly. Filled with colors of black and blood red, the line was given a, grubby dark aesthetic while gorgeous silhouettes and pretty floral prints screamed femininity. Preen combined plunging necklines and sheer materials to create alluring appeal offset with harsh, double-buckled ankle booties making these pieces wearable both day and night.
Feminine and beautiful, Chanel always gives us something to talk about. The Spring 2013 Runway show is no different; except, in some way, it is. This season, Karl Lagerfeld puts a gothic, edgy twist on traditional femininity. Standard florals and tweeds are offset with dark eye makeup, thigh-high leathers, and perfect angles. The past and future are brought together Beautiful lace all over and large, vintage silhouettes All of that, plus a runway that looks like a fairytale forest makes it hard to not obsess over this collection.
Christmas is in 13 days!
Every Christmas eve, my family gets together to celebrate the holidays. SInce we have a small picture taking session by the Christmas tree, we like to dress up and pretend that we're living the "Gossip Girl" lifestyle.
I usually attend the parties in red or emerald green, but this year I want to celebrate in different fashion: White Christmas theme.
Here's what I would wear this year:
Print Party Dress - Topshop
Navette Burst Earrings - J.Crew
Leather Western Boots - ASOS
Scouse Nail Lacquer - Butter London
Rhinestone Wreth Necklace - Forever21
Bejeweled Flower Necklace - Forever21
Rhinestoned Crescent Chain Necklace - Forever21
What are your holiday traditions?
What will you be wearing to your holiday parties?
Honestly, I love the Christmas Season. Everything in the world seems happy and bright. And people adopt a kinder spirit. The music is cheerful and uplifting. The decorations fill not only out houses but the streets as well. It’s my favorite time of year. I get to shop for my friends and family and spend large sums of money without any buyer’s remorse. And with giving comes receiving; who doesn’t like a gift every now and then? My wish list this year is pretty much centered on fashion with a few beauty products thrown in. Check out the images above and if you like what you see click the links below!

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Gorgeous lights, tinsle, presents! Who doesn't love the holidays? With all those fabulous family members and friends to buy gifts for, it might also be looked at one of the most stressful times. And being the fashionistas/os that you are, all gifts you give must live up to you incredibly high fashion standards. Although, it's hard to get all 20 people on your gift list a gift that's just as luxe with you without overdrawing your bank acount. Or is it? This year, one of the largest stores has made it possible to give gifts that ooze fashion, wow your friends, and keep your wallet happy. Target has teamed up with Neiman Marcus to create over 50 pieces for the store with the help of 24 outstanding designers; and let's be honest, these items will fit the needs of every single one of those lovers on your list. So go ahead, be suckered in by the label, the glamour, and the outrageously resonable price tag.
Jotting things down on my wish list, exchanging gifts, and holiday parties are my favorite things to do this time of the year. With Christmas just around the corner, I've decided to share with you some gifts that I plan on giving this holiday season:
1. Hunter Bradwell Chelsea Boot Wellies: Madewell ($115.00)
This short Hunter boots are perfect for those who do not like to sport chunky rain boots in the wet weather!
2. Wool and the Gang Knit Pom-Pom Hat: Madewell ($69.00)
This colorful pom-pom hat is perfect for my beanie obsessed friends!
3. Bonnie Jonas Metal Collar Necklace: Nordstroms ($38.00)
Two trends in one: oxblood collar necklace!
And the list continues....
